Accessibility

Last updated

We want everyone to be able to use this website, including people with disabilities and people on slower connections or older devices.

What we have done

  • Aimed to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.
  • Made every page usable with a keyboard, with a visible focus outline and a “Skip to content” link.
  • Added text descriptions to meaningful images.
  • Used real headings, lists and tables so screen readers can navigate them.
  • Checked colour contrast for text and buttons.
  • Turned off decorative motion for visitors who prefer reduced motion.
  • Designed every page to work on small screens, down to 360 pixels wide.

Known limitations

We are still working on:

  • Captions and a transcript for the video on our home page.
  • Some partner logos and older documents that we don’t control.

Feedback

If you have trouble using any part of this site, or need information in a different format, please email support@nyanja.com or use our contact form. We aim to respond within five working days.
